Jerry serves as VP of Operations at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, NC. He manages the JAARS facilities and the Business System Team by developing good business processes in order to use JAARS resources effectively and efficiently.
Prayer requests:
Please pray for wisdom as Jerry develops a plan of action for consolidating the purchasing functions for Dallas and Waxhaw.
Pray for final preparation of the budget for JAARS and especially for the 145 cost centers JAARS has to manage.
Pray for Lynn and her Ladies’ Bible Study as they look into the Book of John - that as each lady studies God’s word it will draw them closer to their Father.
Pray for Calvary Fellowship as their team comes to JAARS the last week of September - that this would be a great time of serving the Lord and seeing the work we do here.
Pray that our children and their families would grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior.

The Women's Refuge - Vero Beach, FL
Since October 1997, Ted and Donna have been ministering at The Women’s Refuge, a 3 month to 2 year residential, discipleship and training program for women who want to grow in their Christian walk as they heal from spiritual or emotional woundedness in a safe and structured environment. Over 150 non-residential Biblical counseling sessions are conducted each month for the community. Groups are offered to those who have suffered sexual abuse, have problems with addictions, co-dependencies and anger. There is a new class for those interested in biblical counseling. Donna’s main focus is training leaders now. Other Refuges have been opened in Florida, South America and South Africa. There are plans to open more in Florida, South America, Canada, and Australia.

Pray for us as we face increasing challenges from the Lord to disciple all those who come to us for help.
Pray for us as we take up the challenge to raise funds to match a $25,000 grant that will be used to reduce our mortgage.
Praise God for the provision of volunteers and dedicated staff who are filling many roles at the Refuge that has helped us reduce our operating expenses tremendously.
