Missions Caring for the Orphan (and Other Vulnerable Children)

Caring for the Orphan (and Other Vulnerable Children)

November 9, 2018 by Christ Covenant Church

Do you have a burden for children in vulnerable situations?  Have you ever wondered if anyone else here does?  Have you been looking for support or encouragement in your commitment to care for the fatherless?  Or just wondered how to take the first step?  Please join us for an informal but important lunch in the CLC (rooms 1 & 2) on Sunday, November 11 after the morning worship service. We hope to identify interest, build connections, share ideas and spend some time in prayer together as we seek to better understand where we are and how we might grow as a church in faithfully practicing “pure and undefiled religion” (James 1:27) through adoption, foster care, mentoring, supporting those who do, etc. Lunch is provided. Please RSVP to Dave Baxter at dbaxter@christcovenant.org.
