May Short Study – Encounters with God

About this study

In the Old Testament, we see examples of people having overwhelming encounters with the living God. These were through direct speech, visions, dreams, and angelic messengers as direct representatives. Scripture tells us that some encounters were “face-to-face” with God. How could that be and the person live?

In these sessions, we will look at several examples of these encounters to see what Scripture teaches us about the holiness of God, the sinfulness of mankind, and how we can relate to a holy God.
