Ministries Sunday Ministries

Sunday Ministries

Christ is the center of all that we do and teach to our youngest members. Our Sunday ministries are unique to each age level, as our volunteers engage them with the Gospel and enfold them into the ministry. Our goal is to come alongside parents in teaching our children God’s truths that come from His Word and lead them in how to apply this Truth to their lives.

Nursery

Sunday School & Morning Worship

Our youngest ones begin their church journey in what we call The Flower Bed. The Flower Bed is located in the worship center. Here, loving team members will plant the seeds of community as well as church by loving our children well through showing them that church is a place where they will be loved, cared for, and safe. If your child is under the age of two, they will be here in The Flower Bed.

Sunday Evenings

In the evenings, our youngest will join again in community, as they participate in “pat the Bible” and are loved on by team members. Note: room assignments are different in the evenings than they are in the mornings.

Ages 2-12

Sunday School (9 AM)

Early Childhood (ages 2-4 by August 31)

Our children, ages two to four, are in what we call “The Pond.” The Pond is in our B Building and it is a place where children will learn to explore the world that God has created and their place in it. As they hear stories of the Bible being taught, it is our hope that our children will begin to develop a biblical self-image. This will come through being rooted in the understanding that they are made in God’s image and that their purpose is to bring Him glory, all things taught in their unique curriculum. Note: Early Childhood rooms are open during Sunday school and morning worship

Elementary

If your child is in elementary school, he/she will be in “The Orchard.” The Orchard is in the C Building for Sunday school. It is our prayer that our children will grow developmentally and spiritually as they walk away with truths that have been taught to them and they have interacted with in this area.

Morning Worship (10:45 AM)

Children’s Bible Time (ages 3-4)

Our three- and four-year-olds have the opportunity during morning worship to join us for Children’s Bible Time (CBT). Following the offering during morning worship, bring your child to the B Building where they will be engaged by loving team members in learning the Word of God through lesson and song.

Sunday Evenings

Nurseries are available for children from birth through 2 years.

During the school year, we are pleased to also offer:

Lead Me to Zion: Teaching Covenant Theology to Covenant Children (3 and 4 year olds)
We believe all of God’s promises extend to our children. This class seeks to remind our children of God’s covenant-promises and how each promise leads us to Jesus. The class starts just before the sermon during the evening worship, dismissal will be announced and is in the worship folder. We do hope your little one will join us! Any questions? Contact Amy Wallace, director of Children's Ministries.
Children's Choir (K-2)

**Please note, choirs for 3-7 grades, and 8-12 grades meet at different times during the week. Please contact Liz McNulty for choir information.
