Your children’s safety and their spiritual engagement are of our upmost concern. To ensure that, we intentionally staff our rooms on Sundays in a way that honors our volunteers spiritual gifts and what is best for our children. Every volunteer is trained and equipped to serve your child week to week.
To Volunteer in Children's Ministry
All of our volunteers must complete C.A.R.E. training. This is a safety and security class which includes a background screening.
Our training program is called C.A.R.E. (Children and Adults in a Responsible Environment). The C.A.R.E. Program is a proactive plan to protect our children against harm and injury. All volunteers are required to go through C.A.R.E. training to become a volunteer and the training must be repeated every five years. The training may be completed in person or online.
For C.A.R.E. training online, you will need to acquire a password. Once you have the password (please see the following paragraph), click here. (Note that this goes to our old website but will soon be updated with new information and forms and will be available on this website.
If you are interested in knowing how to serve, or to schedule in-person training or to acquire the online password for the C.A.R.E. training page, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Lindey Duncklee at 704-814-1024 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
