Ben serves as the church planter/organizing pastor for Christ Our Refuge Church, located in a southern suburb of Kampala, Uganda. He is also helping to establish the Uganda Presbytery of the Reformation Church in East Africa, a new Reformed and Presbyterian denomination which launched in 2019, serving as the chair of the church planting committee. Kim serves in the children’s, women’s and mercy ministries of Christ Our Refuge and is developing a healthcare ministry within the church.
Prayer Requests
- Pray for the training and ordaining or a godly and gifted Ugandan pastor and ruling elders for Christ Our Refuge Church, so the that the congregation can become a vital, gospel-centered, indigenously-led and self-supporting church.
- Pray for church planting in the Reformation Church in East Africa – that the new denomination would faithfully train, mentor, equip and ordain Ugandan pastors that will plant healthy, gospel-centered churches.
- Pray for God’s grace and blessing over the transition of pastoral leadership in COR from Ben as lead pastor to a new Ugandan lead pastor.
