Imbumi serves as the pastor for the Kibera Reformed Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Martha, lead a word and deed ministry involved in reaching out to the urban poor in the slums of Nairobi with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. They run Malala Christian School for over 170 children and a feeding program for these children.

- Pray for God to continue to bless their effort with many children coming to faith through their school and annual youth camps.
- Pray for wisdom and protection as they continue to run a rescue facility for children in dire situations.
- Pray for success and much produce from their garden to feed all those in need.
