Greg & Christie Salazar
August 23, 2025- Pray for the additional funds the Salazars need to meet their 2025 fundraising goals. Additionally, they need to raise $415,000 for the next 4.5 years.
- Pray that God will provide these funds and provide outward-focused people who are eager to share the gospel with lost people in Myers Park to be part of the launch team.
- Pray that God will provide facility space for Sunday morning worship when that time comes, and for office and ministry space to lease in the next six months.
- Pray for Greg and Christie as they seek a Christian school for their children to attend. Finding a school with availability that is affordable can be a challenge.
- Pray that the Salazars will be able to sell their home in Savannah this spring and find a house in Charlotte.
- Pray that God will continue to grow them closer as a family and give them opportunities to build relationships with their neighbors.

August 23, 2025- Praise the Lord as last year LHN (Life Hope Network) experienced its highest number of total clients and births.
- A newspaper plans to print articles about abortion based on interviews with LHN and past clients. Pray that this will have a God-glorifying impact.
- Pray for more baptisms at the church this year.
- Pray for God to work through LHN, particularly as they launch a post-abortion video series.
- Pray for Tomi to progress through the ordination process and feel confirmed in his call to the church, if that is God’s will.
- Pray for Micah as he graduates from high school in March and will begin attending a day facility for adults. Transitions are hard for him.
- Pray he will enjoy and thrive in his new environment.
- Pray for Cynthia to have strength to take care of homestays (women who are living at LHN with Cynthia as they await the birth of their baby), as well as Micah.
- Pray for Cynthia to have more discipleship and evangelism opportunities.

August 16, 2025- Pray for a venue for the church, as they have been evicted from their evening service venue, and an LGBTQ group is trying to get them evicted from their morning venue.
- Pray for Zac and Kate Leach, arriving in Leeds this summer, and for a smooth transition for Zac to his role as assistant minister for the church.
- Pray for evangelistic fruit in Leeds.
- Pray for the development of youth and children’s ministries in the church, as the number of children attending the church is growing rapidly!
- Pray for Focus, a student group of 40-50 youth, that there will be spiritual fruit and conversions.
- Pray for the Rhodes children as they struggle with finding peers.
- Pray they will not resent the faith but grow strong in Christ.
- Pray for Georgina as she homeschools the kids and balances life at the church – for her to have grace and wisdom to confront pressures from both.
- Pray for Jonty to walk closely with the Lord and minister in a way that honors the Lord and serves the congregation.
