“…so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:4

Shepherdesses are also available upon the request of a woman to provide crisis care and advocacy for those who may be in the role of victim, or have culpability in matters of church discipline. They are also ready to come alongside women in difficult life circumstances who could benefit from a brief series of one-on-one meetings with a wise and caring woman.

Shepherdesses are godly, seasoned women who assist our pastoral staff and leadership in the soul-care of women, in the church, who are in crisis. A Shepherdess will offer encouragement to a woman in crisis with biblical counsel, a godly perspective, and friendship accountability. The goal for the woman who is struggling is to be restored to a gospel-centered walk with God, with her family, and with her church community.
