Dr. Kruger is President and Professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary and also serves part-time as the Teacher in Residence at Christ Covenant Church. He is one of the leading scholars today in the study of the origins of the New Testament, particularly the development of the New Testament canon and the transmission of the New Testament text. He is the author of numerous books, most recently Christianity at the Crossroads: How the Second Century Shaped the Future of the Church (IVP Academic, 2018). He is ordained in the PCA and is married to Melissa who serves as the Director of Women’s Content for The Gospel Coalition. They have three children, Emma, John, and Kate.
As our Teacher in Residence, Dr. Kruger works with the pastoral and ministry staff of Christ Covenant Church in teaching, preaching, and speaking at events while effectively supporting the mission of the church: In humble reliance upon the word of God and prayer, we are committed to worshiping God, making disciples, loving one another, and serving the body of Christ.
