Christ Church Glasgow | Church Planter
Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland. More than 1.2 million people live in greater Glasgow, a vibrant, thriving, cosmopolitan area. The city also has many social problems, and there is a great spiritual need for the gospel because so few people have heard the good news of Jesus. More churches are needed to reach people with this message of hope, which is why the ministry of Christ Church Glasgow is so important. Jonathan is the pastor of the church, which is a church plant of the Free Church of Scotland. The church launched in 2019 and is now the parent congregation for a new church plant in Merchant City. Over the past year, Christ Church Glasgow admitted its first members and ordained its first elders!
- Pray for the preaching of God’s Word on Sundays. Pray that God
will transform lives. - Pray that the church will grow as a strong community where everyone is known, loved, cared for and willing to serve.
- Pray for good opportunities to serve people in the community and share the good news of Jesus with others.
- Pray for unbelievers to come to the church, feel welcome and respond by trusting in Jesus.
- Pray that Jonathan and Sheona will flourish in their marriage.
- Pray that their children will be strong in their faith at university and school.
- Pray that the Lord will give wisdom to each member of their family.
