Vive Charlotte Church | Church Planter
Vive Charlotte Church is a small community church desiring to create roots in the heart of East Charlotte and become true neighbors to those around them by helping the community as a whole to flourish. The good news of the gospel compels the church to reach out to every corner of the neighborhood and bring renewal – not only to spiritual lives, but to relationships and the rhythms of the community. José is the pastor of Vive Charlotte Church, which celebrates its third anniversary this year, and by God’s grace they are a flourishing church that beautifully represents their community. The church has grown to an average Sunday attendance in the 60s, with new people coming to saving faith!
- Pray for their first elder candidates as they move toward particularization.
- Pray for the expansion of their ministry into other areas of the city, where they will serve Spanish-speaking families.
- Pray for the Lord to continue to bless the leadership team.
- Pray for Anna’s ongoing health and renewed strength.
- Pray for José and Anna as they parent their four children – Daniela, Benjamin, Felipe and Ibrahim – that they would see Jesus in the way their parents care for them.
- Pray for José and Anna as they care for José’s parents who are living with them.
