Mission to the World (MTW) | Women’s Ministry Worker
Glasgow is the biggest city in Scotland, yet only 2% of people attend church. The city center is a major media hub and important marketplace area where there is a demand for more housing. Kelsey is in transition to work with a church plant in Merchant City, an area within Glasgow, as a women’s ministry worker. Her focus will be praying for, discipling, and training women in the church. She also hopes to use her background in fine arts to begin to build relationships with people and connect with others in Glasgow’s Merchant City community, pointing them to faith in Jesus and bringing them into the local church.
- Pray for the pastors of the church plant, David and Neil, as they raise up and train the core church planting team.
- Pray for Merchant City Church, for a unified vision and mission
for the church ministry. - Pray for the Lord to open doors for Merchant City Church to build partnerships with existing organizations in the city.
- Pray for Kelsey, that the Lord will grow her through this season of patiently waiting on his timing for the ministry work to begin.
- Pray for wisdom as she begins building relationships with the women on the core church planting team and as she trains and disciples them.
- Pray for financial provision and a smooth transition as she prepares to return to the UK.
