Esk Valley Free Church | Church Planter
Having planted Esk Valley, they are now seeking to establish it as a self-sustaining church for generations to come. Sharlene is very involved in the life of the church and also teaches at a local high school.
Scotland is a very progressively secular country, which brings many challenges. However, God has helped the church grow, and they are gradually finding ways for people to involve their friends in the life of the church family. They hope and pray this leads to conversions as the church is established.
- Pray for their church to become self-sustaining by increasing giving.
- Pray for them to see friends come ‘closer’ and meet with the Lord Jesus.
- Pray that a long- term venue can be secured so they can meet in the morning.
- Pray for God to provide a ministry house (the denomination encourages a ‘manse’ system of housing).
