Milas is continuing the work of establishing a church plant in Fairfield, CT, which includes a great deal of evangelism and discipleship in a largely unchurched area.
Most of those in the region grew up nominally Catholic and do not attend church. In order to engage others with the gospel, they must overcome both negative reactions against the church and beliefs that church is irrelevant.
The biggest praise from this past year is their move to a new worship location. This move required a great deal of unity among current leaders, which God granted throughout the entire process. This move has activated current members into deeper service and commitment to the church while also allowing them to reach dozens of new people who had never come to the church before.
- Pray for the church to reach many non-Christians with the gospel this year.
- Pray for the Shepherds to continue to balance various commitments well, particularly as the children grow older.
- Pray for their family’s personal ministry to bear fruit.
