East Charlotte Presbyterian Church Rising Adults & Outreach Director
Travis has been positioned to lead, feed, and mobilize
the rising adults (fifth grade through high school) of East Charlotte Presbyterian Church (ECPC) and facilitate outreach ventures and opportunities. ECPC is a wonderfully eclectic community, but fear, busyness, greed, laziness and apathy are challenges faced within the area.
- Pray using Ephesians 3:16-19 for the Jones children and
for the young people they work with on a regular basis. - Pray for them to have grace to be the “light of the world” (Matthew 5:14-16). Pray for humility and love that follows the example of Christ (Philippians 2:3-8).
- Pray for increased hunger for the Word and deeper understanding (2 Timothy 3:16-17). One of the prayers they have for their work is that the Lord would “build the house” (Psalm 127:1).
- The Jones family is moving from their apartment in East Charlotte into a house just a couple miles down the road in the coming months. Pray for this bittersweet transition.
- Pray for new relationships and rhythms in the new home and neighborhood.
