About this study
September-October: Studying Ecclesiastes
Everyone seeks satisfaction, security and significance in the things of this world, but whether we look for it in relationships, work, ministry, entertainment, money, appearance, or achievements, we ultimately end up frustrated and unfulfilled. Perhaps no book teaches this truth better than Ecclesiastes. Thankfully, it also reveals that the only true source of satisfaction, security, and significance is the Lord Jesus Christ, who will one day return to make all things new.
November: Pastor's Series
In this 3-week series, we will consider relationships between various groups in the church, such as men and women, adults and youth, and church members and unbelievers.
January: Exploring our Finitude
February-April: Studying Prayer in Scripture
As we study prayer through the lens of the unfolding story of Scripture, it will teach us how to pray. More importantly, it will reveal the Covenant God to whom we pray. And such an endeavor provides the foundation and motivation necessary to enrich our prayer life. See how Old Testament prayers find their fulfillment and transformation in Christ. Discover boldness and joy in prayer because Christ is the high priest who gives us access to the throne of grace. Moreover, look forward to an eternity in which our prayers will consist of unhindered praise.
