Considering Him Faithful: Sarah and Rahab

Only two women, Sarah and Rahab, are listed in chapter 11 of Hebrews, often called “The Hall of Faith.” They were commended because they considered the Lord faithful to His promises.

In Scripture, we see how God used both of them in His unfolding plan of redemption. The line of our Messiah came through them.

Today, we may be challenged in believing some promises of God for us when life doesn’t seem to be going as we planned. We can gain spiritual strength for those questioning times as we study how our unchanging God worked in a barren woman and a prostitute to bring them to a place of considering Him faithful to His Promises.
