Second and fourth Mondays starting August 12 | 7-8:30 PM in the CLC Chapel
The Set Free Women’s Ministry invites all women to join for an open seminar focusing on developing a Biblical perspective on sex and sexuality – in and outside of marriage. We have various teachers from within our church walking us through the 20 chapters of Ellen Dykas’s (of Harvest USA) Sexual Sanity for Women. This book helps us understand why many of us struggle with destructive relational and sexual patterns and how the Gospel can bring change.
The goal is for all of us to understand God’s good design for sexuality, the underlying reasons we struggle relationally, and how the grace and truth of Jesus Christ can be applied to these areas of our lives. Change begins as deeper heart issues are uncovered.
This series is for women of all ages (18+ and youth accompanied by a parent). Maybe you are struggling personally with poor sexual habits, lack of intimacy in your marriage, broken expectations of relationships in your life, or unhealthy friendships. Or maybe you are a friend to someone who has confided in you that she is battling these temptations. Maybe your marriage is in turmoil as a result of sexual sin by either party, and you’d like to better understand how Christ plays a role in your healing. Maybe you are a mother, wondering how to broach this topic to your pre-teen or teenage daughter, who is undoubtedly confronted with these realities by her peers. Or maybe you’re just interested in learning about this specific sin pattern that affects nearly everyone, whether directly or indirectly. We invite you all to come. Members and non-members are welcome. To learn more, please email brittany.facinoli@gmail.com.
