Vaughn & Joni Volius are serving as Directors for Campus Outreach in Columbia, South Carolina. They lead, train, and shepherd 11 staff across 2 campuses to grow and develop the regional footprint in breadth, depth, and spiritual vitality. They are also evangelizing, establishing and equipping students with the gospel that we may see them come to know Christ, love him, walk with him and share him with others.
Benedict College Stats:
- 1,900 largely African-American students
- 24 countries represented
- Only 2 other campus ministries other than Campus Outreach are there
- 5 different affinity groups have been reached by CO already, including Greek organizations, band members, sports teams, etc.
“My aim is to see college males become godly men, husbands, fathers, and church members who are devoted to the Scriptures and dependent on the Lord. And that Revelation 7:9 would be reflected in the campus movements over which I serve as Area Director.”
Prayer Requests
- Please pray for the students at Benedict College that we are meeting with every week on campus, that they would believe the good news of the gospel and trust Him solely. Some of the students that we would love prayer for are Jaedin, BJ, Javi, Pree, Zamara, Kenny, AJ, and Elijah.
- Please pray for our family as Joni and I look to lead and shepherd our daughter, Lyla. Pray God would give us wisdom in this stage of life.
