About this study
The Book of Psalms is a collection of prayers, songs, and poems that express the full range of human emotions—joy, sorrow, gratitude, and deep longing for God. Written by King David and other authors, the Psalms provide comfort in trials, guidance in uncertainty, and a reminder of God’s unwavering presence throughout our lives. In this study, we will explore the various genres of Psalms, from lament to thanksgiving. We will also see how every Psalm ultimately points to Christ. This study will be in connection with our summer devotions on the Psalms.
