Grieving a loss, walking through a divorce, or providing care for a parent or child are all difficult experiences you don’t have to go through alone. And if you have a family member or friend going through these difficult seasons of life, let them know that these groups are here for them as well. Below are the various support groups we offer for Fall 2021:
GriefShare is a video seminar series featuring some of the nation’s foremost Christian experts on recovery topics as seen from a biblical perspective. GriefShare will begin meeting in-person Fall 2021. Click here to register online and view the schedules. Contact John Ramseur at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
DivorceCare for both Men & WomenChrist Covenant uses the DivorceCare program in leading 13-week groups to help men recover from the pain of separation and divorce. This is a support group that meets weekly and includes three key parts: a video seminar featuring top divorce recovery experts, small group discussion about the video and issues faced by the individual group members, and a personal workbook with study that reinforces each sessions topic and allows you to journal. Caregivers Support is for people who serve as the caregiver in any capacity. If this includes you, then you know the challenges you face, how you may often feel alone, how you see the changes in your loved one, and how you may experience feelings of helplessness. We meet weekly, use the book Ambushed by Grace by Shelly Beach to focus our discussions, and talk about our experiences.
