Tim Burns has deep roots in the Charlotte area and is a graduate of King University, a Presbyterian school in Tennessee. He has 30 years of experience in accounting and finance including public accounting and serving as the CFO of a faith-based investment management firm. Tim holds a CPA and a CGMA professional designation.
Tim has previously served as an Elder, Deacon, and Stated Clerk at St. Giles Presbyterian (EPC) and as the Treasurer for the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic. Tim and his wife, Jane, were married in 1996. Jane has served as a middle school math teacher at Covenant Day for nearly two decades. They have five children who all attended CDS. Tim’s hobbies include soccer, hunting, golf and spending time with family.
