Girls Summer Basketball Camp

Join coaches Debbie Gidney and Sarah Gidney this summer for a 3-day basketball camp at Christ Covenant Church. This camp is open to any 10-14 year old girls (you don’t have to go to Christ Covenant!), so invite your friends and neighbors. We will work on basketball skills, learn about the game, eat lunch together (bring your own lunch), and enjoy playing basketball!

When: July 5-7, 2023 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Where: Christ Covenant auxiliary gym (A Gym)
Who: Girls ages 10-14
How Much: $30 (paid on the first day of camp)

Middle and High School Guys Bible Study

Starting Tuesday, June 27, all middle school and high school guys are invited to participate in a weekly Bible study on Tuesdays from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm in the youth center of the Community Life Center led by our staff and interns. We will spend 6-weeks reading and studying the letters of John (1 John, 2 John, 3 John). We will wrap up by 4:00 pm each week, but we are happy to let students stick around and play ping pong, pool, and other games for a bit afterwards! The study will start on June 27, 2023 and will meet every Tuesday through August 1, 2023.

Serve the City

Christ Covenant Youth Ministry (CCYM) is excited to announce that over 50 of our middle school and high school students will be serving our community through Serve the City 2023! During the week of June 20 – 23, 2023, our students will be partnering with local ministries such as Vive Charlotte, Project 658,  Rainbow Express Ministries, and the Queen City Pregnancy Resource Center as well as assisting many of Christ Covenant Church’s senior adults with house projects. Pastor Eric Russ will also lead our students in evangelistic training and implementation in the afternoons.

Would you join us in prayer for Serve the City? Pray that our students and volunteers would be compelled and emboldened by the gospel to love God and love their neighbors by sharing Christ with those around them! Ask that God would use our students’ words and deeds to plant seeds in the hearts of those our students serve. Pray that God would use this time to develop deep friendships among the middle school and high school students involved in CCYM. And, most importantly, pray that God would be glorified in Charlotte.

Serve the City 2023

Serve the City is a way for students to serve other ministries in our area. Some of the ministries that we will serve are to our own Senior Adult Community, Brookstone, Rainbow Express Ministries, Vive Charlotte, our own Evangelism team, and others.

Serve the City Training

Sunday, June 4, everyone who is participating in Serve the City this summer needs to be at the Community Life Center Rooms 5&6 for a brief training session from 9:30 – 10:30 am. We will provide some light breakfast food and drink and will head straight over to worship afterwards.

A weekly opportunity throughout the summer to gather for Bible studies and games. A great time for students to invite friends!

High School meets on Wednesdays and starts May 31, 2023, and ends July 26, 2023.
