About this study – Fall: Minor Prophets

The Minor Prophets aren’t usually the books we choose to study. After all, they can be difficult to understand, they contain strange visions, and they appear to be irrelevant. But we will be pleasantly surprised. The Minor Prophets are incredibly rich and  applicable. We will be brought to our knees in worship. We will be convicted of our self-righteousness and idolatry. We will be filled with hope as we await Christ’s return. We will have a better grasp on the meaning of covenant in Scripture. We will come to know the triune God in a deeper way. And at every turn, we will be pointed to Christ.

Spring: 2 Corinthians

Paul was passionate about the gospel, affectionate toward his spiritual children, and prayerful about everything he did. The passion and emotion that shines through this letter differentiates it from every other book in the New Testament. As such, it tutors us in what it means to shepherd the souls of those the Lord has put under our care. We will learn to build them up, teach them true humility and repentance, and walk with them in the truth of the gospel.
