About this study-
Fall: Hebrews 11
By Faith is a 10-week inductive study through Hebrews 11. While giving thoughtful attention to the broader context of Hebrews as a whole, each lesson takes a deeper look at the men and women featured in this well-known “Hall of Faith” chapter. Through the stories of these imperfect yet faithful people, we see how the author of Hebrews urges his readers to persevere in faith. Come see for yourself as you study along with a small group and grow in your understanding of the God who is always faithful.
Spring: James
James is a short book with many themes, numerous details on prayer and practical living, and a stern series of instructions for the body of Christ, the church. James is known as a peacemaker and a pillar of the early church, and warrants our time and thoughtfulness to his letter. He writes in an easy-to-read manner that gets our immediate attention. You will become familiar with this “Proverbs of the New Testament” through the 12 lessons.
Dates, Times, and Study Format
Dates: September 23, 2026 – April 14, 2027
Time: 7:00-8:30pm
Location: CDS High School
Format: Participants meet weekly to discuss the lesson. Melissa McPhail, the study’s author, will guide discussion and provide weekly teaching.
Participant Limit: Due to the size of the room, this study is limited to 20 participants. After we reach 20 we will begin a wait list. Please register early to secure your spot!
Homework and Fees
Homework: The estimated weekly time for homework is 1-2 hours.
Bible Study Fee: $50 ($45 before August 24)
There is no childcare offered for this study.
