The first quarter of 2024, Bongo will be responsible for core group development, vision casting, fundraising and establishing a community around God’s Word, with the aim of launching Sunday services by mid-year.
Home to the prestigious University of Cape Town, the area they are looking to plant a church is a place where many people are trying to discover the meaning of life and what it means to be free. It is a prime place for the church to be a witness in a society searching for meaning.
- Pray for the Mkivas to wisely commit and be faithful to their growing family and to the establishment of the new church plant.
- Pray for all those who are stepping out of the comfort of an established church to begin a new church as a core group.
