PCA/CDM (Committee on Discipleship Ministries) | Women’s International Director/Trainer
Women’s Ministry International (WMI) mobilizes partnerships between PCA churches in the U.S. with international Reformed churches for the purpose of mentoring and discipling women. PCA women lead Zoom Bible studies and are intentional about building friendships. After a year of monthly studies, WMI takes a team of women to the specific church overseas to conduct a weekend training. The aim is to develop international disciple-makers who will disciple women within their own cultural context, help women develop a richer walk with God, encourage stronger marriages and help build healthier churches. Connie is the director of the PCA Women’s Ministry International, and Mike is the Pastor of Outreach and Missions at Christ Covenant Church.
- Pray that God will raise up women in leadership who can carry
on the mission of WMI. - Pray for ongoing fundraising efforts to provide scholarships for international women to attend PCA conferences here in the U.S.
- Pray for the translation efforts of the curriculum “Thinking Biblically/Living Covenantally” that WMI uses in training conferences.
- Pray for the monthly Zoom discipleship groups that are developing in Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Mexico and South Africa.
- Pray for Connie and Mike’s children and grandchildren, particularly for the health and spiritual development of their five grandchildren.
