An estimated 85% of pastors around the world have received little or no formal biblical/theological training. Most don’t have access and live in places that are hostile to Christianity. WordPartners travels to different countries to train pastors how to preach God’s Word and train others in the gospel. Dave trains pastors in the U.S. and internationally in the essential principles of biblical interpretation for the purpose of preaching Christ-centered sermons.
- Pray for the training of pastors in security-sensitive countries hostile to Christianity.
- Pray that the pastors receiving training will develop skills to train others so the gospel can be taken to areas where Americans are not allowed.
- Pray for safety and health for all training staff as they travel internationally.
- Pray for the partnership between WordPartners and the Praetorian Project as they plant churches in military communities.
- Pray that the training will be effective and pastors will have confidence in handling God’s Word.
- Pray for more opportunities to train pastors and leaders in hard-to-reach places.
- Pray for the Lord to bless Dave and Miki’s five adult children and two grandchildren.
- Pray for the De Haan family as Dave travels and is away
from home for periods of time. - Pray for health and stamina.
