Mission to the World (MTW) | Theological Education: Sub-Sahara Africa
Jorum leads theological education ministry training in various churches, developing interns and leaders with the goal of planting healthy churches. Evah leads the women’s ministry of the Presbytery of Bulawayo, teaching women and developing mature and discipled women of the church. The exponential Christian growth in Africa has been accompanied by false teachings with dangerous outcomes. It is important for the theology of the African church to match its growth. Jorum and Evah’s goal as MTW workers in Sub-Saharan Africa is to encourage church leaders and pastors to learn and teach correct theology in order to plant healthy churches.
- Pray that God will raise young leaders of the church who are hungry for God’s Word and ministry.
- Pray that God will provide resources allowing Jorum to train pastors in remote areas of the country with no previous
theological education. - Pray that God will provide finances to pay off the new church building mortgage.
- Pray that God will allow Jorum and Evah to reach their 100% financial support base.
- Pray for Evah’s women’s ministry plans and for the theological development training to be successful for 2025.
- Pray for Roseanne’s studies at the university and for her Christian witness as she attends school in Pretoria.
- Pray for Jorum and Evah’s son who attends Covenant College. Pray for his education studies and for his Christian witness.
- Pray for Jorum’s studies while doing ministry.
- Pray for their family’s health as they travel and do ministry.
- Pray for God’s grace to use them in all the different places and contexts over the next year.
