TeachBeyond | Missionary Teacher
The Czech Republic is one of the most atheistic countries in the world, attracting people from across the globe with the promise of accessible employment. As a result, ministries such as TeachBeyond have a unique opportunity to interact daily with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Rachel works as a secondary social studies teacher at a missionary school whose mission is to provide an excellent education from a biblical perspective to both Christian and non-Christian students. The school serves students from a wide range of backgrounds and religions, incorporating the gospel into every part of its curriculum.
- Pray that non-Christian students would come to faith through the Lord’s work in their lives and that Christian students would continue to grow in their faith.
- Pray that the school staff would not grow weary in doing good, but remain faithful in serving for the glory of God. Staff turnover can be high, which may affect students by making them hesitant to form close relationships out of fear that staff members will leave.
- Pray for the church Rachel attends, as the interim pastor recently stepped down, and for wisdom for the search committee as they seek a new pastor.
