Mission to North America (MNA) | Refugee & Immigrant Ministry Director
One in four people in the United States lives in the same household with someone foreign-born, whether refugees, immigrants, international students or businesspeople. The Lord has brought people from every nation to our local communities, and we are called to welcome these sojourners, remembering that we ourselves are sojourners in a foreign land. Angela helps to build awareness among PCA churches and presbyteries about how the Great Commission applies to the refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants the Lord has brought to our local communities. Angela also comes alongside churches to inspire and equip them to welcome, engage, disciple, and partner with their refugee and immigrant neighbors.
- Pray that God will use the Refugee and Immigrant Ministry
as a vessel to encourage churches and provide resources for
them to engage, serve and care for refugees and immigrants
that God has brought to their doorstep. - Pray for unity among PCA churches around the topic of “neighboring the sojourner in our midst.”
- Pray that Angela will be faithful in spiritual disciplines.
- Pray for David as he travels with Angela and supports her in this ministry work.
- Pray for patience.
- Pray for their family, particularly as they prepare to welcome their second grandchild soon. Pray for a safe delivery.
