Director of The Detroit Project
There is a great need in Detroit for mature Christians to help with the primary mission of reaching spiritually lost, unchurched, de-churched, and under-churched people. Daniel is the director, recruiter, supervisor, coach and mentor to church planters in the Detroit area. The Detroit Project has a vision to plant 35 churches by 2035.
- Pray for each of the seven church plants that are currently
underway, that they will grow to sustainable numbers with
healthy, generous Christians committed to the mission of
the church. - Pray for new converts.
- Pray for fruitful ministry to meet and disciple lost people into the faith.
- Pray for new church planting opportunities – for locations and church planters to join the movement in Detroit.
- Pray for Daniel and Laura. The Lord provided a way for them to return to Traverse City in order to be close to family!
- Praise the Lord that they are able to do most of their work remotely. This is a blessing as their daughter, who was a mom to seven children, recently died in a tragic car accident. Although
Daniel and Laura moved to be near family, certain tensions
have surfaced, and the enemy is clearly trying to devour
the family. Pray for the Lord to thwart these evil schemes. - Pray that the tensions among family members will have a
godly end so the family can draw closer together amidst the
tragedy. - Pray that this will all lead to greater relational fruit.
