New City Fellowship of Atlantic City Church Planter
This city of about 40,000 is a small city with big-city problems. With over a million tourists per year, it is plagued by poverty, greed, corruption, false religions and much more. Churches are dwindling and struggling to survive. A significant percentage of the population are Muslims. Christianity is seen as a religion for women and kids and even sometimes only for white people. These are a few of the many obstacles that Christ is overcoming by his gospel of grace!
As the solo pastor/church planter, Peter is responsible for both shepherding the flock that has been gathered and leading the way in continued evangelism and outreach into their community. Katie partners with him in this goal, particularly through her help in the women’s and kid’s ministry at the church.
- Pray that God would provide more gospel workers/laborers to share the load of ministry.
- Pray that God would help all of our folks find meaningful ways to use their gifts to serve our church plant & city.
- Pray that God would grant us a season of harvest-time ministry after years of sowing.
