New City Fellowship of Atlantic City | Church Planter
Atlantic City has nine major casinos, a busy tourism district and 40,000+ residents from diverse backgrounds. Idols such as quick money, entertainment, false religion and addictions display a spiritual brokenness that can only be healed through Christ. Peter is planting New City Fellowship of Atlantic City as a mercy-minded, cross-cultural PCA church in the heart of Atlantic City. They hope to be a gospel-centered community that exalts Jesus Christ, builds up the body of Christ within the city, and focuses on reaching the lost.
- Pray for the work of the Holy Spirit to empower the church as his witness.
- Pray the Lord will enable each member of the congregation to share the gospel regularly and that the gospel will fall on hearts ready to respond in repentance and faith.
- Pray for people to value the local church and make a commitment to be part of it.
- Pray for unity, togetherness and renewed strength for the Eck family.
- Praise God for 10 years of service in this area, and pray the Lord would put wind in their sails for this next season.
- Pray for spiritual growth and commitment to Christ’s church for Hannah-Grace, Caleb and Haven-Elizabeth, and their education and growth to maturity.
- Pray for Peter and Katie’s marriage, that the Lord will deepen their relationship and strengthen their partnership in ministry and raising their children in the Lord.
