Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) | UIUC Campus Staff
Many students at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign come from secular or nominally Christian households. RUF is not widely known in the Midwest, which presents a special opportunity to share the gospel with a campus of 56,000 students, including 22% international students. Jenn meets with women on campus one-on-one, teaches small group Bible studies, and participates in weekly RUF large-group worship services. These provide opportunities to teach students about topics like justification and sanctification while fostering life in community with one another.
- Pray for the gospel to spread “like wildfire” at the University of
Illinois. - Pray for RUF staff – Ethan Brown, Hannah and Tim
Sandridge, and Jenn – that they will be sustained in ministry
and life. - Pray for the volunteer student leaders to grow in their
understanding of God’s grace while they do ministry. - Pray that they will be led by the Holy Spirit in their studies and service.
- Pray for continued healthy growth of RUF on campus – in numbers, faith, prayer life, and love for Christ and his church.
- Pray for Jenn’s fundraising endeavors to be blessed as she continues to partner with churches and individuals who have a heart for this ministry work.
- Pray for Jenn’s heart to be continually softened to receive the love and grace Christ extends every day.
- Pray for her local community and social circle to grow.
- Pray that Jenn will learn to rest and care for herself as she operates in a fast-paced, late-night college ministry.
